This is a re-strike of an etching originally created during a Visiting Artist residency to Egress Press at Edinboro University in 2019. For the new edition, I invited two of the printers I previously worked with, to travel to my Austin studio and reprint this work with me over the course of a week. The image is created in 5 colors from 3 copper plates, printed on handmade kozo paper from the Morgan Conservatory, and individually backed onto a lush BFK cotton rag paper.
Due to the inherent qualities of hand made paper and a hand printed image, very slight variations occur across the edition of 33. Each impression within the edition meets my very high standards for fine art limited edition prints.
